our daughter goes to Oberlin College in Ohio as a freshman

Big E - I hope that Lora is doing better and I will be praying for you and for her and the health of the baby. I can remember what it was like to face health problems during pregnancy and it is not fund. May God Bless you both.
On another note, I just got back from a two week trip that included three days in Amsterdam and a seven day safari in Tanzania. It was awesome.

Bad news fellas. I'm having to cancel my plans for the reunion. Lora was in the hospital all last week due to a combination of issues with kidney stones/kidney infections. She is 33 weeks pregnant and (not to be gross) but there was a danger that her infections could turn septic and endanger her and our son. Thank God they were able to kick the infections in the a**, but unfortunately there is not a whole heckuva lot they can do for pregnant women when it comes to kidney stones. Hers were bad enough that they had to put in stints to avoid future issues. However, she is basically stuck in a lot of pain for the next few weeks. They gave her the option of inducing the baby now, but she is going to tough it out for another 2 1/2 weeks to make it to 36 weeks. Which coincidentally will be the week after the reunion. While it was an easy decision to make to be with her, it has been a really stressful time when the Doc basically tells you that you are playing a balancing act between her health and that of our unborn son. Not an easy place to be. However, let me assure you that I believe with all of my heart and soul that they will both be perfect at the end of all of this. I'm sorry that I am going to miss everyone, and I had even planned on bringing my guitar and showing off my Mike Scott wannabe skills. But, that will have to wait. Please say a prayer for Lora and Daniel that they will make it throught the next few weeks with flying colors.
